A QUAD bike rider was taken to hospital after colliding with a car in Darlington yesterday evening.
The incident happened on Station Road in the town, just before 7pm on Monday, November 1.
It involved a Yamaha quad bike and a blue Kia Stonic and the quad bike rider was taken to hospital with "significant" head injuries, an ambulance spokesperson said.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: “Police were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Station Road, Darlington, shortly before 7pm last night (November 1).
“The incident involved a Yamaha quad bike and a blue Kia Stonic.
“The rider of the quad was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital with head injuries.”

A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 6.59pm on Monday evening to reports of an injured male in a road traffic incident involving a car and a quad bike.
"We dispatched one ambulance crew, and the patient was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital for further treatment."
The spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service added the quad bike rider had sustained “significant head injuries.”
