NORTH Yorkshire police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was hospitalised after being hit by a bike while walking his dog.
Police say the incident happened on Friday October 29 at around 9pm on the A6136 Leeming Bar near Catterick Village.

The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and in particular we are appealing for information about the cyclist.
“Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for PC Crawford 103. You can also email: James.Crawford@northyorkshire.police.uk.
