Dragon Sara Davies and her partner Aljaž Skorjanec will be taking to the Strictly ballroom again on Saturday for the Halloween special.

Northern Echo readers have loved following her journey all the way from week 1, seeing her highs from her leaderboard-topping Tango and watching through fingers at every Craig critique.

Last weekend, she failed to impress the judges with her romantic Rumba, scoring just 25 points last Saturday, ranking her and Strictly pro Aljaž in the bottom two on the leaderboard and leaving them vulnerable to the dreaded dance-off.

Luckily, we will get to see Sara dance another day as she returns to the Strictly stage this weekend with a Whitney Houston hit.

What will Sara Davies be dancing this weekend?

Earlier this week, the BBC confirmed what our Strictly stars would be dancing this weekend.

Since it is the Halloween special, the routines on Saturday will have a spooky twist.

Our Northern Dragon will be leaving the Rumba behind for her first Couple's Choice of the series to Whitney Houston's Queen of the Night.

Sara and Aljaž confirmed the news oN ITV's Lorraine this morning.

The pair spoke to Christine Lampard and teased that they had an "epic" performance planned for Saturday night's show.

Sara said: "We don't want to spoil the surprise, but I'll tell you what I have learnt, I thought it was a word he had made up: chainography.

"I've got him chained up and I'm Queen of the Night, so just wait till you see..."

At that point in the interview, Aljaž quickly interrupted and said: "It's different to what it sounds like but it's amazing!"

Speaking about his partnership with Sara, Aljaž said: "She's not just a gorgeous lady inside out, but just an amazing student really. We've had such an amazing time in rehearsals every single day.

"The immense progress from week one, it's incredible really to even witness, never mind being there teaching you," 

"You're so focused, you're so driven and I'm just amazed really, every single week what we can achieve on that floor."
