The manufacturer will be moving as part of a relocation of Promech Technologies and its move to a new 54,000 square-foot purpose-built facility and office development.
Both Mellor and Promech Technologies form part of the Woodall Nicholson group of UK manufacturing brands.
According to the company, 50 highly experienced employees will relocate from Premoch’s existing location nearby.
There is also expected to be an additional 30 to 50 jobs created as part of the move.
Partnerships with local schools and colleges will promote STEM learning, say Mellor, and will allow for a "centre-of-excellence" for future talent within the business.
The new facility is hoped to boast state-of-the-art equipment and Mellor have announced that upgrades should "significantly boost Mellor's design capabilities.

Mark Clissett, Mellor's bus division managing director, said: "This is one of the most important investments that Mellor has ever made.
"One which underlines our commitment to UK customers and one which reflects our longer-term ambitions for repositioning the business from 2022.
"We’re excited at the possibilities this new site will offer not only to our customers, but to the local area, with employment opportunities and ongoing engagement with local schools and colleges to develop STEM learning as a basis for a career in the burgeoning zero-emissions bus industry.”
Mellor say, with the bus industry's shift to zero-emissions gathering momentum, Promech Technologies will play "an increasingly influential role in Mellor's future model introductions."
