REPORTS are coming in of an incident on a major road earlier this morning.

Drivers were asked to try and avoid the A64 in Ryedale, North Yorkshire, after an incident on the A64 near Sherburn.

There are reports of slow traffic due to an accident on A64 between St Hilda's Street Crossroads and East Heslerton.

The road was reported to have closed.

It is not known if anyone has been injured at this time.
