A DISQUALIFIED driver has been banned from the roads again after being caught behind the wheel.
Jade Harriet Young of School Garth, Sowerby, was caught driving a Renault Megane on Stockton Road in Thirsk on July 9 this year despite being banned from driving.
The 27-year-old was charged with driving while disqualified and without insurance.
She pleaded guilty to both offences and was sentenced on Monday (October 18) by North Yorkshire magistrates sitting at York.
They gave her a 14-month disqualification from driving along with a community order of 100-hours unpaid work.
Young must also pay £180 in court costs and charges.
