A POPULAR shop has reopened in the Metrocentre at a brand new location after being forced to relocate as part of a major shake-up of retailers.
The music retailer HMV has reopened in the shopping centre after closing its old store on the ground floor of the Platinum Mall in August.
Now under the new brand of 'The HMV Shop,' it has moved into the former Internacionale on the upper floor of the yellow mall.
Opening last Friday, the music and vinyl store reopened with a brand new look featuring artwork designed by local artists.
Sharing pictures on Instagram, freelance artists Glenn Malpass and Toothrag have donned their creations inside the new shop.
The relocation comes as the former HMV shop is being absorbed into what will be an enormous JD Sports, covering several former units including Flannels.

Earlier this year, Metrocentre bosses confirmed several shops would relocate with Hugo Boss, Paperchase and Game among those involved.
Meanwhile, House of Fraser closed down in the first week of September as Harrods H Beauty is set to move to the Metrocentre next year.
At the time, Graeme Jones of Sovereign Centros, the asset and development managers for the Centre commented: “This is all very exciting.
"These lettings really reinforce how retail in these powerful major regional centres is changing, replacing the hitherto reliance on the old department store formats as anchors with new and exciting concepts and brands which will be much more interactive for the shopper.
"These quality fashion brands are a major draw for our customers. There is a lot more to come over the coming months with some other exciting lettings lined up."
HMV's opening times are Monday to Friday 9am to 9pm, Saturday 9am until 7pm and 9am to 5pm on Sunday.
