A DARLINGTON man has admitted to breeding dogs without a licence.
Edwin Grange Welch, of Honeypot Lane caravan site, appeared at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
The 26-year-old admitted one offence of breeding dogs and advertising a business selling dogs without a licence.
He pleaded guilty to the charge, which dates from between November 22, 2019 and April 28, 2021, and was given a 12-month conditional charge.
He was told to pay costs of £150 and a further £21, which will go towards funding victim services.
