TEN years ago this week, murder squad detectives believed a missing Polish farm worker was strangled after she argued with her brother over money.
Police launched a murder inquiry after tests showed that a woman - believed to be missing 27-year old mother of one Danuta Domagalska - found in a shallow grave at New Moor Farm, Walworth Gate, near Darlington, had been unlawfully killed.

Police had called a halt to the search for Mrs Domagalska.
Specialist search teams discovered the body hidden beneath piles of rubbish and rubble on land behind a cow byre to the rear of the main farm buildings. A post-mortem examination showed it had been there for two weeks.
Also that week, a boy who was brought back to life in the back of an ambulance had astounded doctors with his recovery and was preparing to join his classmates at the beginning of term.
Patrick Lindley stopped breathing for about two minutes after being pulled from the wreckage of his father's car in February.

The 13-year-old, from Dishforth, in North Yorkshire, was resuscitated by Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS)medics before being airlifted to The James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough.
He had sustained severe leg and abdominal injuries after the vehicle came off the road in snowy weather, just north of Boroughbridge, and had spent many months in recovery.
But through his sheer determination, Patrick was back on his feet and enjoying playing with his friends once more.
Meanwhile, a patchwork quilt, started 35 years before by a mother who died before she could complete it, had finally been finished.
Emma Clegg's mother, Dianne, started the project while she was pregnant with her daughter in 1977, using material from duvet covers, shirts and summer dresses to reflect Emma's childhood.

But after spending 16 years working on the quilt, including when she was expecting Emma's brother, Andrew, Mrs Clegg died of breast cancer in 1994, with the quilt unfinished.
