THE Met office have predicted very warm weather for today and tomorrow with some places seeing as high as 21c at the hottest point of the day.
Although the current outlook for the day is looking rather cloudy, the weather forecaster has predicted things will clear up by mid afternoon spelling much warmer weather for much of the North-East.

Darlington in particular will see a high of 20c at 3pm today which will feel like 18c according to the Met office and Northallerton will see temperatures of 21c tomorrow at 4pm.
The Met Office said: “After a rather cloudy start, it will brighten up through the day with some warm sunny spells developing into the afternoon.
“Northern coastal districts may be a little slower to improve, with some mistiness here. Staying dry, with light winds. Maximum temperature 22 °C.”

The weather doesn’t look set to last sadly as the outlook for Wednesday and Friday according to the Met Office says: “Settled with light winds through this period, with cloudy and misty starts giving way to eventual sunny spells, although damp for a time into Thursday. Temperatures a little below average.

Newcastle Upon Tyne – today: 19c, tomorrow: 20c
Sunderland – today: 17c, tomorrow: 18c
Darlington – today 19c, tomorrow: 20c
Hartlepool – today: 17c, tomorrow: 18c
Durham – today: 19c, tomorrow: 20c
Northallerton – today: 20c, tomorrow 21c
Scarborough – today: 17c, tomorrow 17c
