POLICE have issued an appeal after a car crashed into a child who was riding a bike.
Officers are appealing for witnesses following the collision involving a black Vauxhall Astra and a child on Fabian Road, Eston, at around 7.55pm on Saturday (August 7).
Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who may have seen the black Vauxhall Astra driving along Fabian Road around the time of the incident and would also appeal to anyone with CCTV footage or dash cam footage on Fabian Road between Church Lane and Birchington Avenue.
The child, who was riding a bike, was taken to hospital with minor injuries and was later released.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 132061.
