A FAULT on a train is affecting rail travellers in Teesside, Darlington and County Durham this morning.
The 6.59am train from Saltburn to Bishop Auckland, due in at 8.22am, and the return 8.26am service from Bishop Auckland, which was due to arrive at Saltburn at 9.49am, have been withdrawn.
Operator Northern said the service had to be cancelled due to a “fault on this train”.
The service was due to call at Saltburn, Marske, Longbeck, Redcar East, Redcar Central, South Bank, Middlesbrough, Thornaby, Eaglescliffe, Allens West, Dinsdale, Darlington, North Road, Heighington, Newton Aycliffe and Shildon.
