AS the number of Covid cases in North Yorkshire continue to fall, Scarborough currently has the highest number of cases, here’s the rundown area by area.
The data provided shows the seven-day rate per 100,000 as of July 29 2021 and shows the number of positive test results supplied seven days before the ‘latest data’ date.
Cases in the region are shown to be the highest in Scarborough with 288 cases per 100,000 and Richmondshire coming close second with 277 cases per 100,000.

Ryedale holds the fewest cases in the region with 175 cases per 100,000 with Craven following with just 247 cases per 100,000.
The numbers are a stark contrast to those in the region a couple of weeks ago when cases where as high as 661 per 100,000 in the Hambleton area, showing that cases have fallen dramatically in the past week.
