THE start of a huge shake-up of stores in the Metrocentre is now underway - as some have already been relocated.
Metrocentre bosses have confirmed that three retailers have so far been relocated as a raft of changes are set to take place over the next twelve months.
Flannels, Game and Paperchase have all moved from their home in the Platinum Mall, while HMV is set to relocate in September.

They also hinted that there would be "more to come," with further details of the shake-up expected to be released in coming months.

What Metrocentre has said
Graeme Jones of Sovereign Centros, the asset and development managers for the Centre commented: “This is all very exciting.
"These lettings really reinforce how retail in these powerful major regional centres is changing, replacing the hitherto reliance on the old department store formats as anchors with new and exciting concepts and brands which will be much more interactive for the shopper.
"These quality fashion brands are a major draw for our customers. There is a lot more to come over the coming months with some other exciting lettings lined up."
