A MAN has suffered a gunshot injury after a weapon was fired at a home twice in two nights.

The windows and door of the property on Ainstable Road, Ormesby, Middlesbrough, were targeted by unknown gunmen

Cleveland Police confirmed that on the first occasion, at midnight on Sunday night into yesterday, a weapon was discharged at the living room window and at an upper bedroom window causing no damage.

At around ten minutes past midnight this morning, the weapon was discharged at close range at the front door. One occupant sustained a slight pellet wound to his arm.

A force spokeswoman said: "A man wearing a dark coloured Nike Air hoody with grey sleeves and black tracksuit bottoms was seen at the time of the first incident however he was wearing a balaclava with a surgical mask over this. Two males in dark clothing were seen at the second incident.

"We would appeal for anyone with private CCTV, dash cam or other witnesses to contact Cleveland Police via the 101 number
