POLICE officers searching for missing man, Norman Lamb, have released new CCTV images of him in the hope that the public could help trace him.
Norman, who is known as Peter, went missing from his home in Bishop Auckland two weeks ago, on Tuesday, June 29.
The CCTV images show the last known sighting of the 51-year-old at Sainsbury’s, in Bishop Auckland, at 10.13am that morning.
Peter went missing six hours later.
Officers are asking for drivers who were in the Greenfield Road and Maude Terrace area at around 4.08pm to review their dashcam footage for any possible sightings.
Peter is around 6ft 2in tall with brown eyes and dark thinning hair.
It is believed he was wearing a dark blue or black t-shirt, blue jeans and black trainers when he went missing.
Anyone who has seen Peter, or has any information on his whereabouts, should call Durham police on 101, quoting incident number 28 of June 30.
