THE best and worst GP surgeries in County Durham have been revealed, based on what patients had to say.

The NHS asks patients for their views of their registered practices and publishes the results every year.

It includes a range of criteria including the general practice appointment times available and the ease of contacting the practice by phone.

This week, The Northern Echo is publishing the results of this survey across the North-East and North Yorkshire.
