THIS is the face of the man who has admitted choking a young woman to death during sex game.
Sam Pybus has pleaded guilty to manslaughter following the death of Sophie Moss in February this year.
The 31-year-old's pleaded guilty on the defence that he had 'no intention of harming her or causing her injury'.
Pybus, of Water View, Middleton St. George, Darlington, was charged with murder but the Crown Prosecution Service has accepted his plea of guilty to manslaughter.
Sophie Moss, 33, was found unresponsive by police at Glaisdale Court on Sunday, February 7.
She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Teesside Crown Court heard how Pybus accepted responsibility for the death of Miss Moss but will maintain that it was an accident.
Sam Green QC, representing Pybus, requested that a pre-sentence report be prepared due to "matters relating to his personal life and background".
Judge Paul Watson QC, the Recorder of Middlesbrough, adjourned the case until September 7 when Pybus will be sentenced.
