A NORTH Yorkshire building site was broken into and had £6,000 worth of equipment stolen after burglars damaged a security fence.
The incident reportedly occurred at the KEA building site on Cedar Road in Sowerby at 5.25am on July 7.
Around £6,000 worth of equipment was taken including Stihl saws, generators and Wacker plates by unknown offenders.

The burglars gained entry into the site by causing damage to a security fence and then caused further damage to a large metal shipping container containing the items.
