TWO OF North Yorkshires most premium hotels are offering a £2,021 wedding package two tempt couples - here's what they're offering.
Harrogate’s Hotel St George and the Royal Hotel in Whitby are now able to host 11weddings after the latest Government measures and are looking to tempt any couples who may have postponed their wedding plans with the package.
The package allows for 30 guests to enjoy a four-course, sit-down wedding breakfast and a glass of prosecco per person, plus it includes an overnight stay for the bride and groom on their wedding night.

The offer also includes table linen, napkins, place cards, a table plan and menu cards, a cake stand and knife hire.
Paul Donkin, general manager of the Hotel St George, said: “One of the benefits of Hotel St George having only recently reopened is that despite recent enquiries, our calendar for weddings still has some availability, which means couples who are quick to get in touch will almost have a choice of dates, which run up until the end of the year as part of the offer.”
Andrew Lee, general manager of The Royal Hotel, added: “The last few weeks since reopening have been tremendously busy, yet exciting, and we’re delighted to be moving into the next phase of the process of bouncing back. Hopefully, the 4-week delay on the easing of lockdown measures will prove to be just that and guests who book in for late July can enjoy a wedding without restrictions.”
The contents and pricing of the 2021 Wedding Package can be applied to any wedding that is booked in for a date before December 30 2021.
Since reopening last month, the hotels, which are part of the newly formed Coast and Country Hotel Collection, have enjoyed a period of busy trade.
Paul Donkin said: “While the extension of social distancing measures does continue to restrict part of our business, we’re very much focusing on the positives and we’re delighted to be able to bring weddings back to our wonderful venue – albeit with some necessary social distancing restrictions in place.”
