A TOP athlete who still works part-time at his father's building firm is 'absolutely buzzing' now his place at this summer's Olympics is confirmed.
Shot-putter Scott Lincoln, of Brompton, Northallerton, already had one foot on the plane to Tokyo after throwing further than the Olympic qualification requirement in the Czech Republic earlier this month.

However, he still had to finish in the top two of the British Championships in Manchester last weekend to confirm his Olympic selection.
Although he didn't beat the personal best of 21.28 metres he set in Brno, Scott threw 20.22 in Manchester - beating the competition by a clear 3.2 meters and securing his place on Team GB.
He said: "I'm absolutely buzzing.
"It still hasn't sunk in fully; I'm really excited to go."
Scott, a former Darlington College student, says he and his trainer Paul Wilson from the City of York Athletics Club will now work on an intense training regime in a bid to bring an Olympic medal back to the region.
