RICHMOND MP, and Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak announced on Twitter last night that he got a new dog and its name is Nova.
The tweet shows the MP at his desk, posing with Nova sitting on his knee and reads: "Meet Nova." Followed by a dog emoji.

The tweet has resulted in a storm of replies from people posting introductions to their dogs and pets along with a picture.
One person said: "It must be puppy dog season. Hi Nova, meet Buckey our 10-week old woofy puppy dog."
Another person said: "That's it I'm sold, Rishi for PM. Still not quite as cute as my Winsty though."
Others have used the opportunity to introduce their cats.
One person replied: "Lovely, meet Tiger."
Others have shown more scepticism towards the tweet.
Someone else replied: "A dog is for life, not for electioneering."
And another person: "No. Can't get round me with a cute dog. I'd rather meet a decent Government who actually cared about the future of the country."
