A STOCKTON auditorium has received two official industry approvals to reassure visitors that the venue is Covid-safe.
The Princess Alexandra Auditorium in Yarm obtained the VisitBritain "We're Good to Go" industry standard and "See it Safely" accreditation through UK Theatre.
The industry standards and supporting marks are designed to assure visitors that the business adheres to Government and public health guidance and has robust Covid-19 procedures in place.
Dan Brookes, auditorium manger, said: "It has been a long time coming, but we are delighted to be able to open our doors again in a safe way to an eclectic line up of performances, with something for everyone.
“The accreditations mean that visitors can be at ease in the knowledge that we are carefully following the guidance in place to keep audiences and staff safe.
"It has been a challenging time, but we are keeping everything crossed that this was the last closure and that we can continue with our ambitious plans to bring more varied and high-profile shows and artists to Yarm.”
