POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was injured after falling off his bike in the Yorkshire Dales.
The cyclist was travelling along an unclassified road between Gayle and Oughtershaw, near to Busk Farm at around 11.10am on Sunday May 9 when it’s thought his tyre blew.
He came off his bike onto the road and received superficial injuries which were later treated at Airedale Hospital.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses, who haven’t yet spoken to the police, to come forward so they can determine the circumstances around the incident.
They are particularly interested in speaking to the driver of a small blue hatchback, believed to be a Nissan Note, as they believe they may have information which could help the investigation. Call 101 and ask for Jordan Salt.
