A FATHER-of-four is appealing for the public’s help after reaching the semi-final of a competition to help him provide financial security for his family.
Gordon Wade, from Richmond, is taking part in the The One contest, which is being run by property entrepreneur Steven Green, who runs the Property Investment Academy.
The winner of the competition will become The One and will shadow Mr Green for a year while he guides them to hopefully becoming a millionaire.
In 2018, Mr Wade and wife Laura, who run the Rosedale Guest House in Richmond, had triplets. Emilia Lily, Olivia Daisy and Joshua David were born ten weeks premature and weighed less than three-and-a-half pounds each when they were born.
They were already parents to big sister Georgia.
Mrs Wade said: "Gordon has got through to the final six in the competition - he hopes to win and provide financial security for our family, in particular Emilia who has cerebral palsy and will benefit from therapy and surgery to gain a better quality of life.
The family are calling on people to vote for him to get through to a final round of the competition, which concludes next Sunday, May 9.
