A MAN remains in hospital and a second also suffered injuries after a suspected domestic stabbing in a Darlington village.
A woman has been charged in connection with the incident which is believed to have happened in a house in Middleton St George, near Darlington, at around 11.50pm on Sunday, January 10.
One man was taken to James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough, where he remains.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A second man was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, and was sent home a short time later.
Lucille Connors, of The Beeches, Middleton St George, has been charged in connection with the incident.
The 44-year-old appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday to face one count of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
She did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Crown Court on February 9.
Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
