NORTH-EAST podcast stars Chris and Rosie Ramsey have shared an adorable picture of their new baby.
Comedian Chris, 34, and Instagram star Rosie, who cohost popular podcast Sh**ged Married Annoyed, revealed their son Rafe was born on Wednesday night, January 6.
Writing on Instagram, Rosie announced the birth of the couple's second son.
She said: "Hi everyone 👋🏼
"This is Rafe Ramsey 💙
"Born yesterday afternoon weighing 9lbs 1oz.
"He’s absolutely wonderful and looks EXACTLY like his brother! like, it’s uncanny! 🤣😱😍
"He’s yet to meet Robin, so once we’re all settled back at home I’ll introduce him to you properly. ❤️ Hope you’re all ok xx."
Yesterday, January 7, the mum-of-two also shared a picture of Rafer on her story, where the new born was resting her on.
She captioned the post: "All I needed was for him to be here to make everything okay. Who knew?"
Five-year-old Robin has not met his baby brother, he has seen him on video call.
Rafe's name is no surprise given Rosie's love for alliterations, with the former entertainer often telling Chris she only married him for his surname on the couple's podcast.
Fellow podcaster Giovanna Fletcher was amongst the many sending congratulations, commenting on Rosie's post: "Waaaaaaaah!!!! I’m so so so happy for you all!! Xxxxxx."
Rosie announced she was pregnant in July, writing on Instagram: "4pm wine time BABY' coming January 2021."
Rosie documented her pregnancy on social media and spoke openly about her struggles to prepare for a birth during the pandemic.
Earlier this week she wrote on Instagram: “This is not how I wanted my baby to enter the world.
“I know I’m not alone, thousands of women (including some of my good friends) gave birth during lockdown restrictions last year. You lot are giving me so much strength right now I swear!”
She has also discussed her anxiety after her last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.
Chris missed out on the runner-up spots with Karen Hauer in 2019's Strictly Come Dancing.
