VIOLENCE and sexual offences were the most reported crimes around Darlington in September, figures reveal.
The most up to date figures, from September 2020, show violence and sexual offences were the most commonly reported crimes in September across all neighbourhood policing areas of Darlington.
Split into Durham Constabulary's force area, data from police.uk reveal Cockton, East Villages, East, Haughton, North Road, Town Centre and West Villages, which together make up the whole of Darlington, all reported more violence and sexual offences crime than any other.

These types of crime are consistently the most highly reported across the whole of Durham Constabulary's force area, which includes County Durham, coming second most reported just twice since January.
