WHICH roads in the North-East and North Yorkshire are in the most need of speed cameras?
The Northern Echo recently published the locations of mobile speed cameras in County Durham and Darlington.
We published the sixteen main roads being targeted by the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Unit in their crackdown on speeding motorists.
The A67 High Coniscliffe in Darlington, A167 Aycliffe Village and Carmel Road South were among the roads indentified as needing police intervention.
According to the RAC Foundation, speeding was reported as a factor in 6 per cent of all accidents, but these accidents accounted for 12 per cent of deaths in 2018.
Let us know in the comments section below which road, or roads, you would ideally like to see speed cameras, or even mobile versions, operate in the region.
