A MILITARY aircraft has been spotted flying over Teesside - and if you were in the area, you probably heard it.
The Royal Air Force A400M Atlas has been operating across the area whilst engaged in 'routine essential training' today.
The huge aircraft was spotted at around 2.15pm over Stockton as it headed towards Teesside Airport.
According to the RAF, the Airbus can transport up to 116 fully-equipped troops as well as helicopters and a Chinook.
The A400M is expected to also fly over Humberside and Bristol before returning to its base at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.
