FOUR people, including two children aged ten and six, have been taken to hospitals across the North-East after a crash in North Yorkshire.
A grey Land Rover Discovery, carrying six people on the A170 near to Catterbridge, Kirkbymoorside, drove into a bridge and crashed into a beck approximately 20 to 30 feet below the bridge.
Four of the six people in the car, including two children, were taken to hospital.
North Yorkshire Police were alerted of the incident by North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Services at 2.50pm Sunday, August 2, who were in attendance.
A 55-year old man, who was the front seat passenger, was taken to James Cook Hospital with serious injuries and a 31-year-old woman was taken there with serious spinal injuries.
A ten-year-old girl and six-year-old boy were both taken to Scarborough District Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver, a 30-year-old man, and a 50-year old woman both received minor injuries.
