THE following cases were among those heard at Teesside Magistrates’ Court this week.

DONNA LOUISE DAWSON, 36, of Meath Street, Middlesbrough, stole nappies and baby milk worth £25.30 from a Spar shop in Eston.

She also stole clothes from New Look, underwear from Debenhams and make-up worth £206 from Wilko’s. She was given a community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement and ordered to pay £155.30 in court fines and charges.

STEVEN ROBERT MILSON, 35, of Leicester House, Grangetown, was sentenced to ten weeks in prison, suspended for 12-months, for failing to comply with a community order imposed for assault by beating a woman.

KEVIN DAVIES, 48, of Milton Road, Hartlepool, drove while disqualified, without insurance and in a car without and MOT certificate. He was given a six-month driving ban and ordered to pay £77 in court charges.

JAMES TERRY BECKETT, 45, of Shinwell Crescent, Middlesbrough, was caught drink driving on the A66. He was banned from driving for 20-months and ordered to pay £440 in court fines and charges.

MARK JOHNSON, 56, of Durham Road, Stockton, used threatening or abusive words on Stockton High Street and was ordered to pay £157 in court fines and charges.

JACK KENNEDY, 21, of Goldsmith Avenue, Hartlepool was caught drink driving a BMW in Hartlepool. He was banned from driving for 12-months and ordered to pay £317 in court fines and charges.

GEOFF O’GRADY, 32, of PTS Demolition Barrier Works, Shildon was caught drink driving in Stockton. He was given ten penalty points on his licence and ordered to pay £317 in court fines and charges.

GERARD ANDREW SMITH, 37, of Westminster Road, Middlesbrough, stole fuel from petrol stations on five occasions. He was ordered to pay £414.66 in compensation, court fines and charges.

DEMI LEIGH IVISON, 21, of Bristow Street, Middlesbrough, was given a drug rehabilitation community order after being caught in possession of cannabis in Middlesbrough.

MESAROS LAURENNTU, 19, of Aire Street, Middlesbrough was caught drink driving an Audi on Zetland Road. He was also charged with not having the correct licence and having no insurance. He was banned from driving for 12-months and ordered to pay £301 in court fines and charges.

MICHAEL PETER NICHOLSON, 51, of Berkley Close, Middlesbrough, was caught drink driving a minibus on Norton Hight Street. He was banned from driving for 36-months and ordered to pay £237 in court fines and charges.

DANIEL FOULGER, 28, of Pritchett Road, Ormesby, was registered to a vehicle which did not meet insurance requirements. He was ordered to pay £150 in court fines and charges.

ANDREW MCMAHON, 52, of Hall Drive, Middlesbrough, had an untaxed vehicle and was ordered to pay £199.17 in court fines and charges.

NORMAN TRATTLES, 62, of Bondfield Road, Middlesbrough, failed to notify the council over a change in circumstances affecting his Jobseekers Allowance. He was ordered to pay £140 in court fines and charges.

MATTHEW JAMES MAUGHAN, 29, of High Street, Willington. Stole two watches and a bracelet of an unknown value belonging to another in Stockton. Conditional discharge for 18 months, compensation £220, costs £200.

Made a false representation by selling a watch and a bracelet that did not belong to him, intending to make a gain of cash for himself in Stockton. Conditional discharge for 18 months, compensation £20.

JOHN HOWE HILLS, 29, of Londonderry Terrace, Peterlee. Drove on the A19 prior to A689in Billingham while being banned from driving. Fined £120, victim surcharge £32, costs £85, licence endorsed with six points.

JADE PEARSON, 19, of Blackthorn, Coulby Newham. Drove in Teesside Park, Stockton without insurance. Fined £250, victim surcharge £32, costs £80, licence endorsed with six points.

HARRY IVERSON, 36, of Bowesfield Lane, Stockton. Breached a community requirement of a suspended sentence made in Teesside. No adjudication - dealt with for original offence.

Original offence: Drove in Letch Lane, Stockton and failed to stop causing injury and damage to a person and another vehicle. Jailed for 18 weeks, suspended for 18 months.

Original offence: Drove in Hill Crest and Letch Lane in Stockton while banned from driving. Jailed for 18 weeks, suspended for 18 months.

Original offence: Failed to surrender to Teesside Magistrates' Court having been released on bail. Jailed for 18 weeks, suspended for 18 months.

Original offence: Failed to stop in an accident after causing damage to two cars in Arthur Street, Great Ayton. Jailed for 18 weeks, suspended for 18 months. Had in their possession a quantity of diamorphine in Stockton. Fined £120, victim surcharge £32, heroin to be forfeited and destroyed.
