AN investigation has been launched after a man suffered leg injuries believed to have been caused by a gun.
A firearm was reported to have been shot into the front door of a house on Fonteyn Court in Hemlington at around 10.45pm on Tuesday evening.
Police later found a black vehicle on Low Lane near to the A19 overbridge and believe that it may have been abandoned there on Tuesday evening.
A 17-year-old man and a 22-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in police custody at this time.
Officers are urging anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around Low Lane in Maltby between 9pm and 11pm on the evening of Tuesday, March 10 to get in touch.
They are also urging anyone with dash cam footage to contact Middlesbrough CID on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 39349.
