POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 14-year-old was left with a punctured lung and chest injuries, believed to have been caused by a knife.
The boy suffered the injuries on The Larches in Ormesby, Middlesbrough, at around 10:30pm on Saturday, March 7.
Officers are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding how the boy came about his injuries.
Detectives also believe that there were other youths present at the time who they are urging to come forward.
The teenager remains in James Cook University Hospital in a stable condition.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and he has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
