Stolen Fiesta ST on cloned plates found by police
A STOLEN car which was fitted with false licence plates was spotted and recovered by police on patrol in Weardale at the weekend.
Durham Constabulary's rural team located the stolen red Ford Fiesta ST, which had been taken from a neighbouring police force's area, running on cloned plates.
Officers yesterday recovered the vehicle from Wolsingham for forensic examination.
