COFFEE chain Starbucks are recruiting for a number of roles across the North-East, the majority of which won't require you to have any previous experience.

Trainee Baristas are being recruited across stores in Durham City Centre, Middlesbrough, Dalton Park, Sunderland, Gateshead's Metro Centre and in Newcastle City Centre.

According to Starbucks the role includes delivering "legendary customer service, providing quality beverages, and following health and safety guidelines."

Those securing the role will then be trained up to handle cash, make a variety of hot and cold drinks, and manage customer demand, especially during peak times.

Although workers will need to be flexible with hours, which Starbucks says may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and nights, 'no previous' experience of work is needed.

The role, which has a four out of five star-rating according to jobs site Indeed, requires those to keep a level-head and "maintain calm demeanor" even when the store is most busy.

Starbucks said it was also recruiting for its next generation of supervisors - responsible for assisting the team as a whole - at the North-East stores.

Although Starbucks doesn't suggest experience is needed, it is thought those who apply for the supervisory position will be required to assist in the training of new starters and take on managerial responsibilities.
