THE date for the second series of hugely popular Netflix sports documentary Sunderland 'Til I Die has been revealed by the online streaming service this afternoon.
It follows on from the success the 2018 series had, which looked at Sunderland AFC when the club was relegated from the EFL Championship in the 2017-2018 season.
While it is not known how many episodes have been filmed, it is thought a figure similiar to series one - eight episodes - will be released.
On social media, Netflix UK & Ireland confirmed the second series would be returning to iPads, phones and TVs on Wednesday, April 1.
But as expected, fans from rival teams have taken to social media to provide some spectacular responses and jibes.
