THE first two luxury treehouses being built in a multi-million pound hotel project have opened.
Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa is now preparing to welcome guests into its new accommodation, with a third treehouse ready in February.
The state-of-the-art lodge Peacock – built on stilts in woodland and with views over the hotel’s championship golf courses – was the first to open and the second – Cuckoo – launched last weekend.
Each treehouse features three bedrooms which can be divided up and booked as a one bedroom studio or two bedrooms for smaller groups, or as the entire property which can sleep up to 12 by using a range of sofa beds.
Guests can enjoy private dining with food prepared by a hotel chef, breakfast delivered to the property and packages are available allowing them to use other facilities including the spa and golf courses.
Ramside owner John Adamson said: “This is something brand new, not just for the North East, but for the whole of the north.
“We’ve created luxurious, flexible accommodation which can be used for any occasion and configured to suit individual needs.
“They’re perfect for weddings, getaways, business meetings – in fact for any occasion.
“We believe we’ve created something really special and we can’t wait for our guests to see them.”
