The team behind the original ‘The Polar Express™ Train Ride’ are returning to a North-East railway this Christmas with their famous Train to Christmas Town.

The fantastic family favourite returns to Weardale Railway in Stanhope this year, from Friday, November 29 until Monday, December 23, taking families on a Christmas crazy-filled trip expertly designed to fill everyone with the spirit of Christmas.

Passengers can look forward to a jam-packed array of Christmas delights from the moment they collect their tickets at the station, where they can sample the delights of the Olde World Sweet Cabin, or grab a hot drink and bite to eat.

Fabulous Christmas characters then welcome travellers onboard with singing, dancing, and a selection of traditional Christmas carols and storytelling, accompanied by a cup of hot chocolate and delicious cookies.

Upon arrival at Christmas Town, Santa and his mischievous elves hop onboard the train. Santa will slowly make his way through the carriages to greet every child and present them with a very special gift from Christmas Town.

More singing and dancing fun with the elves during the return journey makes this an unforgettable way to start the festive season.

You can create memories to cherish for a lifetime at this most wonderful time of the year, and find out further details on The Train to Christmas Town, by visiting www.traintochristmastown.com, or by calling 08000 232383.

Tickets are expected to sell out fast, so early booking is strongly recommended.
