TWO new trails help young visitors to explore Kiplin Hall and Gardens this summer. Families can experience Kiplin Hall like never before in a musical celebration inspired by the song ‘A Million Dreams’, from the film The Greatest Showman.

Discover wondrous objects gathered from far-flung lands from Kiplin’s 400-year-old collection of curiosities.  A Million Dreams trail sheets are available from reception from Saturday 22, June, throughout the summer until Wednesday, 11 September.

In July you can get to know Kiplin’s Creatures, of which there are many. In photographs, sculptures, paintings, and more, you’ll find animals hiding in our collections. From ponies to crocodiles, geese to badgers - meet Kiplin’s Creatures, past and present.

Fun trails will lead little explorers around the Hall and Gardens, giving them something to do what the weather. Kiplin’s Creatures trail will be available from reception from July 20 to September 11.

Kiplin Hall and Gardens is a unique Jacobean house filled with furniture, portraits and personal belongings spanning its history since the 1620s. Families can enjoy the grounds and walled garden, woodland and lakeside walks, outdoor games, ship adventure play area, and new zip-wire. In August, Kiplin Hall looks forward to hosting Nature & Nurture Forest School sessions, where children can learn about nature, and get their hands dirty with specialist Lucy Cunningham. Places for this activity need to be booked in advance online at www.natureandnurtureforestschool.co.uk.

Tea Room entry is free. Enjoy homemade seasonal specialities in the company of Kiplin’s ancestors - immortalised in oil paints on the walls - in Kiplin’s wonderful wood-panelled Tea Room.
