A MAN is due to appear at court after police received calls about members of the public being threatened on Saturday.
Durham police said: “A man has been charged following a disturbance in Ferryhill over the weekend.
“Officers were called to Ravensworth Road around 9pm on Saturday, June 29, following reports that a man was threatening people in the street.
“A 29-year-old man was arrested and charged with common assault and criminal damage following the incident.”
The man was bailed to appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court on July 31.
