A HAUL of drugs worth tens of thousands of pounds has been seized as part of a large-scale police operation across the Teesside area this week.
Four men have been arrested and cash and suspected heroin, crack cocaine and diazepam with an estimated street value of £30,000 were seized from a house on Renown Walk in South Bank and from a safe at The Parklands in Redcar.
Several addresses in Redcar and Cleveland and one in Middlesbrough were searched by Cleveland Police under warrant in the operation which involved officers from the Organised Crime Unit, Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit, the dog section and others.
The four men were all arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
A 52-year-old man was arrested at an address on Renown Walk in South Bank while at The Parklands in Redcar a 45-year-old man was arrested.
A house on Uvedale Road, also in South Bank, was searched and a 29-year-old-man arrested there.
And in Middlesbrough a 27-year-old man was arrested after an address on Birkhall Road in Thorntree was searched.
All for men have been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
