STAFF had to be evacuated from an office building following reports of a bomb threat.
Police were called shortly after 8.30am today to reports of a bomb threat at Enterprise House in Spennymoor.
Staff were evacuated to allow police to carry out a search of the premises, which confirmed there was no explosive device in the building.
A police spokesperson said: "We would like to thank the public for their patience while we dealt with the incident.
"Anyone who sees anything suspicious should report it on 101, or dial 999 in an emergency."
The area was cordoned off during the search.
