A park-and-ride scheme will operate during one of the region's oldest town fairs later this month.
Yarm Town Fair will run from 6pm to midnight, on Thursday and Friday, October 18 and 19, and from 11am to midnight, on Saturday, October 20.
The High Street will be closed to traffic during these hours, and a free-park-and ride service will run from the Oakwood Centre car park, in Durham Lane Industrial Estate, to the town centre.
Security staff will be on duty at the car park.
The High Street will also be closed to traffic on October 16, between 5.30pm and 9pm, while the fair is set up.
