CROOK Community Partnership raised more than £200 for a Bangladeshi orphanage and Crook Community Carnival with a charity curry night at Spice Corner, in the town, last week.
David English, the partnership's vice-chairman, said: "Everybody enjoyed the evening and we look forward to holding one in January."
The partnership would like to thank Hole in the Wall Riding School, the Reflexology Clinic, Charlton's Florists, Spice Corner and several of their members for donating raffle prizes.
