LEISURE centre users are being encouraged to get on their bikes for charity.
Visions fitness suite members at Glenholme Leisure Centre, in Crook, can be sponsored to take part in the Cycle for Breast Cancer programme, which hopes to raise money for sufferers throughout this month.
Staff at the leisure centre are also being asked to take part to see how many miles they can all clock up on the exercise bikes when a day of fundraising takes place on Wednesday, October 31.
Senior fitness instructor Julie Tyrie said: "We sponsor this event every year, as most people know someone who has been affected by breast cancer. We aim to continue this and hope this year is better than ever."
Further information is available from any member of staff at the Visions suite.
