Under 10 Colts 5 - 1 Cumby Rovers GOALSCORERS:Christopher Jary 2Caleb Padurariu ,Kieran Stannard ,George Mills .
M.O.M;Nathan Finlay REPORT: A performance which wholly justified the result, Allstars were on fire from the start with seemingly everyone hitting top from at the same time. Chris Jary opened the scoring following a strong shot from Caleb Padurariu and Kieran Stannard extended the lead at half time. The second half was as good as the first with Allstars stepping off the gas a little when they found themselves 4-0 up after 5 minutes - Caleb Padurariu scoring from outside the box and Jary poking the ball in form a corner. An own goal gave Cumby Rovers heart and they came back with a couple of chances but George Mills finished them off seconds after coming on as sub. An excellent all-round performance and confidence boost for the hard games to come.
Man of the Match went to Nathan Finlay for confident goalkeeping and saves that kept Allstars well on top.
Second game was a good battle again with everyone playing extremely well including debutant Bradlee Preston. Nathan Finlay scored to show his abilities at both ends of the pitch but it was 1-1 at half time. Matthew Waters topped his best performance with a goal from a stunning shot (or was it a cross?) giving Allstars the win. The last action involved George Mills passing to the keeper when it would have been easier to score but it didn't matter as the game was won. Man of the Match Matthew Waters for strong play, determination and effort.
