THE PRIME Minister has ruled out a November general election, according to senior Government sources.
Gordon Brown will apparently dismiss the idea of an early poll on his premiership on the BBC tomorrow morning (SUN).
The PM has been forced to reconsider in the light of newspaper polls which show the gap between Labour and the Conservatives has narrowed following the Tory party conference this week.
David Cameron accused Mr Brown of lacking the nerve to press ahead.
Mr Brown still has plenty of time to plan an election - he doesn't need to go to the polls for another couple of years.
