MESSAGES of remembrance have been left for shop worker Jenny Nicholl - believed to have been murdered - ahead of her birthday.
Miss Nicholl should be celebrating her 22nd birthday today.
Instead, her friends and family continue to wait for news of the whereabouts of her body.
Messages of support and sympathy continue to be posted on the family's internet site - www.jennynicholl.blogspot.com
One message left this week reads: "Now that your birthday is nearly here, we still love and miss you very much and always will."
Miss Nicholl, of Richmond, North Yorkshire, left home one evening in June 2005 telling her parents she would not be back that night.
Brian and Ann Nicholl never saw their daughter again.
Despite extensive searches of the countryside surrounding the market town, her body has never been found.
David Hodgson, 47, of Olav Road, Richmond, was charged with Miss Nicholl's murder in May.
He is in custody awaiting trial at Teesside Crown Court.
