TWO German students have been comparing notes during a visit to a Guisborough college.
The teaching students, from Dortmund University, spent two weeks at Prior Pursglove College, finding out more about teaching methods in Britain.
Britta Juchem and Matthia Quellmelz, who are training as teachers of psychology, ended their placement last Friday.
It was organised through Dorothy Coombs, manager of the college's life sciences department.
Ms Coombs, who is chairwoman of the Association of Psychology and vice-president of the European Federation of Psychology Teachers Association, said: "I have made many contacts with teachers of psychology across Europe. As a result, I was able to offer the two-week placement to Britta and Matthia, from Dortmund University. They are both very interested in teaching and the learning process and have a remarkably good command of English."
